SAN ANTONIO – (Nov. 16 & 17, 2022) – To assist local families on the East Side during the holiday season, Legionnaires, Unit Auxiliary, and Sons of the American Legion of Fred Brock American Legion Post No. 828 donated $1,500 in H-E-B gift cards to 30 families of students attending Booker T. Washington Elementary and Dorie Miller Academy. Special thanks to H-E-B for its sponsorship and to the Post 828 Family for their monetary donations. Fred Brock Post No. 828’s mission is to enhance the well-being of San Antonio’s veterans, their families, the military, and the community by its devotion to mutual helpfulness.
